Brendan Handler

Brendan Handler is a media executive, producer, and strategic advisor with leadership experience spanning Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and venture-backed technology companies. 


At Sony, he held strategy and business development roles focused on digital distribution and commercial strategy, helping guide the company’s transition toward platform-driven entertainment. 


At Fox, he helped launch the Fox Innovation Lab and later led the FoxNext VR Studio, producing award-winning immersive media projects including The Martian VR Experience and Alien Covenant: In Utero.


Most recently Brendan served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Moth+Flame, where he led a turnaround that doubled revenue, secured more than $10M in financing, and restructured operations to position the company for sustainable growth. 


Through 8616 Productions, he works with founders, investors, studios, and technology companies on strategic advisory, fractional COO/CFO leadership, venture development, and the execution of complex media and technology-driven projects.
